One "idea" per DLC and those "ideas" are used as alternatives for doors for about an hour and then you're right back into the grind. And that glider only works in specific areas. But if you want use the glider, that's going to be another separate DLC. Want to ride a mount? That takes getting a DLC. Years of maltreatment of the game's players has resulted in a "Company does, Customers Endure" mindset where aspects of the game are stripped down more and more while being layered in within multiple DLC's.
Steam guild of dungeoneering dlc upgrade#
If you're a WoW player, this is probably an upgrade for you, but for anyone else who is looking for a FREE experience to dive into, this will sorely disappoint you. You CANNOT do endgame activities through the free part of the game, and as someone who stuck with guild wars for quite a while, I gave up on trying to keep up with their constant DLC schedules and asking prices. This game is EXCESSIVELY DLC heavy, and those DLC's come with hefty costs.
